Enrollment Policy

1. Living Faith Christian Academy (LFCA) is a Christian educational institution and therefore does not discriminate against applicants on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the selection and admission of students.

2. Students attending Living Faith Christian Academy must ascribe to the principles of the Christian Faith, must accept the Bible as God's Word, and must attend church regularly.

3. Students will only be admitted to Living Faith Christian Academy if at least one parent is a practicing Christian who regularly attends church.

4. Students who test more than two years below their chronological age when completing the diagnostic test may be refused admission to the Academy.

5. Students transferring from schools using the Accelerated Christian Education Program will be considered at all grade levels, provided the student has been enrolled at a school for a minimum period of two years.

6. All admissions to the Academy are at the sole discretion of the school management in the interests of the Academy.

7. All new students are admitted on a probationary basis for the first three months.

8. No student will be admitted if a delinquent account exists at a previous school.

9. No student will be admitted if they have an IEP (Individualized Educational Plan).

Upon receipt of completed application materials, our admissions secretary will schedule an interview date with the Admissions Committee and a date for testing. The presence of both parents at the interview is required. Please call our Admissions Office if you have questions at any stage of this process.

Testing: The Academy administers standardized tests at various dates for admission to grades 2 to 8. Students entering Kindergarten or First Grade are scheduled for individual interviews and the administering of a developmental screening.

Parent Interviews: Parents who apply for admission are interviewed by the Principal. Interviews provide an opportunity to share your personal testimony (your story of coming to faith in Christ).

Notification of Decisions: The Academy operates on a rolling admissions process and will inform you of final acceptance when all steps have been completed.
